Automatically add custom metadata to tethered captures

There are several ways to copy/apply adjustments to images in CO7, like you mentioned: tethering (copy form last etc.), importing, copy adjustments.

The different methods work for all adjustments except a few. Metadata is one of them. The reason is that this is not a visible adjustment and keywords or rating should not be accidentally applied to a series of images.

To copy/apply metadata you can use the double arrow of the metadata tool. You can also use the generic copy/apply of the adjustments clipboard (Cmd+Shft+C / +V) but you have to set the checkbox at the clipboard on purpose for the respective items after the copy command, before the apply command.

Regarding tethering/copy from last, it is not sure whether this is intentional NOT copying or not from a previous image. I reported this to Phase One in the past, so maybe this is still in the pipeline for a change...

Tip: create a style or preset with your copyright information and apply it to all your images during import or afterwards.
