Anyone expand licensing from Sony basis to adding FujiFilm?
Hi,
Been a content user of Capture One Pro for Sony for a while. Since I am not a family of one, my Other Half uses a fujiFilm with an X-Trans sensor. My question is has anyone else try to converge the use of raws from Sony and FujiFilm cameras within the Capture One? Integration ought to be possible but wished to ask experience with actual cases of this activity.
Thanks in advance!

Certainly the full version of Capture One Pro would handle images from both brands, but that may not be what you are asking.

Hi Ian,
Actually, it is the basis of what I was asking. Seems like overkill to buy Pro and have the 500+ camera profile capability, however, I think this is the prescribed route or to have two C1 builds on dedicated computers for the editing.

Possibly, but although none of us have 500+ cameras, it's nice to have the choice.

You have two options:
a) maintain two separate licenses, one for Capture One (for Sony) and one for Capture One Fujifilm for two respective computers, for you and your spouse; you can not exchange images (well, you can, but not edit both brands in both licenses)
b) maintain one license for Capture One Pro; it has 3 activations; supports both Sony and Fujifilm (and many others) and allows you to exchange images that you can adjust; one Pro license is cheaper than the 2 branded versions.
It looks like a no-brainer to me. Option b.
You can upgrade your 'for Sony' license to Pro.0
