Can we install Ph1-C4 on both desktop and laptop?

I have used Phase One on the Desktop and wanted to load it on the laptop but when I went to activate I got an "unknown error" notice.

Any thoughts?

    Yes, you can. And you can activate your installation as long as you have activations left. And you can run one installation at one time (I believe this is a fair but brief interpretation of the license terms.)
    Your activation error could have another cause. Anyway, check your number of activations left at the Phase One web site (login, go to License Management).

    From my experience sometimes i did activation so many times because I upgraded my computer. Also when something bad happened to my mac, I have to reformatted it. Installed C1Pro again. And always forget to deactivate (correct me if deactivate doesnt exist) my mac before upgraded or reformatted.

    No problem, you can deactivate you license from the Phase One site and you get your full amount of activations available. Note that deactivation from within Capture One itself was implemented from v4 onwards.
