Unable to convert files to LCC
Is there any solution available to get LCC files working?
I am unable to convert files to LCC, the badge will only appear in maybe 1 of 50 cases. Randomly.
Equipment:
Capture One Pro 8.0.1
Leaf Aptus II-7
Apple Mac Pro
Images shot on location to CF card, compressed files.
It worked before on older Capture One versions and I am very disappointed to learn that this irreplacable tool just does not work. My personal workaround is to do the LCC conversion in Leaf Capture and then switching to Capture One. This is not what I aimed for when I started to transfer my entire workflow to C1.
Is Phase One aware of this big issue?
Any solutions?
Thanks Frank

Frank,
Given the obvious importance this has for you I would strongly suggest that you open a Support Case and get an official response.
This forum is very useful and it's good that Phase provide it and sometimes comment here BUT it is intended as a user to user forum and so there may be not response from the Phase people who visit us here. A full blown Support Case, however, should provide you with a route to getting an official response and the investigation of your problem in a timely fashion. That would seem to make a lot of sense here.
HTH.

Frank,
I feel your pain. I was having LCC difficulties shooting tethered with a P45+ back. Are you packing your files as eip when you import? My workaround was to NOT pack as eip at capture. I had to perform the LCC calibration on an IIQ file, apply the calibration to IIQ target files, and then pack as eip afterward. I had no success trying to apply an LCC calibration to files packed as eip on capture. This was also true for my Nikon files.
Your use case is obviously different, so YMMV.0 -

Check Metadata tab and "File format"
If they are compressed, then it will say "RAW" and it should work.
If it says "MOS" then they are uncompressed and it won't work.
If it does say, RAW, then contact support and supply a file for verification and solution.0 -
Ulf,
thank you for the information.
It says "RAW" in the Metadata tab and LCC conversion does not work.
I'll contact support as advised.0
