Variety of Installed USB Devices

I recently installed latest CO8 Express for Sony and it asked to install a variety of USB drivers in Windows 7. I only plan to do imports directly from the card slot on the PC. Do I need these USB drives such as:
* PhaseOne A/S
* Dynastream ANT LibUSB

If so, what do they do?

  You do not.
  These are drivers for tethering to cameras.
