Canon 5d 3 focusing problems with LiveView
G'day!
First, I am new to CaptureOne, so I'm probably doing something dumb and I apologise.
When I'm in LiveView and I carefully set the focus, there's kind of no point because:
-If I adjust focus then try and take a shot from within the LiveView window, the camera autofocus kicks in, pulls my image out of focus, THEN takes the shot
-If I adjust focus in LiveView then exit, camera autofocus kicks in and over rides what I did in CaptureOne
-If I turn off auto focus on the camera lens physically, the arrow buttons in CameraOne don't work (they zoom drastically in our out, so you can't really find focus).
What's the dealio? Is the issue that it's just not designed for Canons really?
Thanks guys!

Likely the issue is that the software shutter-release button tells the camera to simulate the shutter-button press. If you have the AF set to initiate with that, then the AF will kick in. Setting AF initiate to another button will avoid the issue. 0
