Lines in my Jpegs

After I process my RAW to Jpegs, at 100% I have tight lines that appear mainly in the midtone areas. The are not banding but look like they have a grain and
run vertically. I don't have them when process Tiff files! I have the Jpeg on High. Banding sup. is on mid way and the noise on low.
Am shooting Canon 1ds Mk2, 100ASA, studio, onto new iMac20' screen.Tiger OS.
Any thoughts?? Thanks
