9.3 not showing Variants
My Capture One 9.3 Variants problem is that when I create a new variant (F7) it does not show in the browser, nor is there an icon in the primary variant to click in order to display those that have been created - so I cannot select them for display in the main viewer. Am I missing something here (I've been using C1 for years) and have tried all possible menu commands.

Do you have an active filter, like for tag or rating? New variants don't have them. Only cloned ones.
If yes, disable your filter and you'll see your new variants.

I saw something like that a few days ago.
Creating new variants did not seem to do anything (except allocated a variant number I discovered once one had generated successfully somehow). After a re-start and re-navigation to the folder all was well.
It may have been a temporary timing issue for some reason.
Seems to be OK now.
I was working in a new session with some downloaded files still in their download location (not imported to the session). Whether that makes any difference I don't know.

Thank you. Have tested it andremoved the filter - and variants show as I would need. However, It can bee a bit of a pain. I was workng on a filtered selection of one particuar bird following a wildlife tour (588 exposures out of app 2000). I can live with it - but I'll send a support request to see if they can make C1.9.3 work on a filtered selection.
Thanks again0 -
Just use 'Clone Variant' instead of 'New Variant' to keep them in the filter.
You can then use 'Reset Variant' to remove the adjustments but keep tags and ratings.
