    Capture One does this by design. There are two possible situations.

    (1) You want to replace the first output JPG file perhaps because you realise that you could have made better adjustments. In that case you could delete the first one from the Output folder before you process the image again to create the second JPG.

    (2) You want two different outputs from the same raw file - perhaps two different crops, or two different colour grades, etc. In that case the way C1 numbers the JPGs is helpful.
