Capture One 8.3.2 Issue
I've just updated to 8.3.2 and now I'm unable to view my most recent folders (I use Catalogues and not Sessions).
I can view the folders in question off-line but not when I re-connect the external hard drive the images are on.
I've re-booted my laptop and even shut it down for a while to see if that helps but no luck.
I know my laptop (a Dell Precision M6300) is over 7 years old now and only has 4GB of RAM but prior to this update everything was OK, running slowly but still OK.
So I now can't work on any of my images; what to do... ?
I've taken a screen shot to show you what I mean (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzpHeS ... sp=sharing).
The screen shot shows that the folder contains 254 images and that I can only view 1 of 6 images and the images shown is different to the one in the list!
Thanks

Looking at the screen capture image you seem to have an active filter. Is that a factor at all?

Start with File > Verify and verify you catalog. Did you update from 8.3.x or an earlier version? If earlier, the catalog database has been updated and maybe is not yet optimized. 0 -
Grant & Paul,
thank you for your response, it's very much appreciated.
There's no active filter set and I upgraded from 8.3.1
If I select File>Verify Catalog I'm presented with two folders, Cache and Settings82; I have no idea what to do after that, do you?
I've just turned that laptop back on again and can get into (and work on the images within) a folder but as soon as I select another folder to work on I get the same problem again and have to use the Task Manager to shut down Capture One as it 'hangs' on me.
I do suspect that most of my problem is down to the age of my laptop (Over 7 years old now) so with that in mind I've just ordered a new desktop computer with 8GB of RAM and a quad-core AMD A10 processor; I can't really afford it but...
When it turns up I'll let you know if it made much of a difference. It had better otherwise I'll be one angry dude 😕0 -

From the File > Verify Catalog command, browse to the folder that contains the catalog ("2015" in your case), and select the database file ("2015.cocatalogdb" in your case) and click on the button to start verification.0 -
I'm having a similar problem. I have Capture One 8.3.2. I am working, as I have previously with no problem, with an external drive with my images in it, folders up in shot groups. When I open up Capture One, it recognizes the external drive. And when I click on the drive it recognizes the folders in side the drive. But when I click on any of the folders with the images in them, I get a "No Collection selected" message in the left hand column whee my images would ordinarily appear in order for me to edit them. I'd be extremely grateful for any guidance. 0 -

I assume you refer to selecting a folder in the Folders section of the Library. Do images appear when you select a collection in the Catalog Collections or the User Collections section? This I ask to rule out any filters.
Next, have you verified to catalog (File > Check Document)?0
