New user questions
Having just recently bought C1 as I have a new Sony A7 I have a couple questions that I can't find the answers to. Coming from Lightroom its a bit of a jump and while I am happy with most adjustments (except the keystone function), and creating user templates and so on I am still stuck with a couple of things, if I should address these questions else where please let me know.
1 Where are data or files I create containing user made templates for meta data, adjustments and so stored? I do not want to erase these by mistake when clearing out test catalogues and sessions whilst learning how to use C1
2 how do I apply a meta data template that I have saved to images being imported? All I see is a box to type basic copyright or whatever info into, I found a way with advice from this forum, when creating a shooting session to do this but not a catalogue or folder in a catalogue.
3 having imported all the shot images, if I have shot raw + jpeg, is there some way to select the raws ( via meta data _file type in LR) only, so as to apply batch adjustments ?
4 when I look at the import from menu there is no import from lightroom , I do not get that option, I have to search for the lightroom folder then the catalogue then the lr folder why is that the tutorial says lightroom is in the menu?

Hi,
A couple of answers here:
1) On windows all files are stored in relative folders in the directory "C:\Users\ ..your user name.. \AppData\Local\CaptureOne"
2)Apply the meta data template by specifying it in the ADJUSTMENTS panel selecting the relative Preset in the Styles entry.
3) I have no idea how to separate them but if you click on the directory or catalog you wish to search in the LIBRARY Tool Tab, then the expansion box next to the search bar in the FILTERS panel and enter search criteria of Any Contains JPG that should pick up all the JPEG files
4) You can select a LR catalog by using the File -> Import Catalog -> Another Catalog dialog ... select the LR catalog in the open dialog.0 -
