Did you set any values for the adjustment using the sliders in the tool?

The "Distortion" slider would be the most likely adjustment to start with.

    Hi Grant,
this was the missing link - thx a lot 😊

BTW: Do you know how to set a certain value as default for a specific lens? would be helpful in the import phase

For each tool that supports it you have a "Save User Preset" option. The three horizontal bars icon at the top of the tool window opens that up.

Whether that is always the right adjustment is another matter.

For a prime lens - maybe, if distortion is your only concern.

For a zoom a single setting preset may not suit all images.

If your preferred lens correction requires adjustments from multiple tools then either save presets for all of them and apply them all on import or after or save the collection of tools as a "User Style" and just apply the Style.

Which is the best approach is unlikely to be something that can be advised generically - there are too many variables.

I think we all have to work out what suits us best knowing the tools that are available.

For a lens I don't think you can save a preset to be automatically used when the lens is identified by C1, partly because there are usually likely to be variable factors involved for automated lens correction that the preset would not address.

However I may be wrong about that and of so please someone add comments accordingly.
