I believe that you can make adjustments in 6 and then see them in 7. But adjustments you make in 7 are not backwards compatible to 6.

    Good to know.

And I'm assuming that one should not open a session created in 6 with 7 and vice versa?

If you open a session that was created with 6 it will convert it to a 7 session. The v6 session file is left untouched but a v7 session file is created alongside it.

I'm wanting to start exploring C7, but, thought I'd first ask if anyone has run into any hiccups/bugs with both 6 and 7 being installed and used on a single machine. I'd still be using 6 for digital capture while having 7 around to tinker with.

MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard and tethering to Canon, Nikon, Phase, Aptus, and Hasselblad backs.

    Cheers,

    Kyle

I have serious hiccups running 7 in general - wether it is alone or simultaneous with 6 installed - but that is rather the problem of C1Pro 7 which is still rather a beta version.

But my big question is : How do you tether Hasselblad backs with Capture One??

Supported (raw & tethering support) backs and cameras are listed in the release notes. Hasselblad backs are not listed, hence not supported.
Phase One or Leaf backs connected to a Hasselblad are supported.

That is why i did ask Paul as he did mention it 😉

Leaf (aptus) is owned by Phase One, but Hasselblad is a direct competitor .. i would wonder if the two are open the doors for each others.
