where is the Quick Menu and Tif + raw?
Hi I am using a Capture one pro six trial. And I am going through lum landscapes cap one tutorial. I don't see the quick menu Icon anywhere on my version.
Also someone has sent some tifs made with a p45+ back which he says are the raw file. I can edit them in cap one but there are some things that make me think they are not the raw file and have been processed already. For instance in the base characteristics module > curve only linear response is available. also noise reduction and sharpening are set at zero as opposed to default numbers. This is how a processed file opened in ACR would appear. i have noticed in preferences you can name a raw file an iiq or a tif. Has he sent raw files or processed tif files by mistake?
Thank you

On CO Pro 6 the Quick tool tab is hidden by default. You can unhide or add it through View menu, Add Tool Tab.
Note that you might need to broaden the tool tab area to accommodate the extra tool tab icon by dragging the mouse from the thin vertical line that separates the area from the Viewer.
There are a few ways to distinguish a raw file with .tif extension from a processed non-raw .tif file with Capture One.
One is to go to the Metadata tool tab (character 'i' in a circle icon), look in the Basic section at the top, Format field. This should read RAW.
Additionally, look in the Base Characteristics tool, ICC Profile field. Should read "Phase One P45+...". If "Tiff file Neutral" is displayed, it is a processed tif file.0 -
Thank you very much Paul.
