Tags in all subfolders

I have a session that has multiple subfolders inside the captures folder. Within each subfolder I have images with colour tags and star ratings. Is there a way to view all the images tagged in all the subfolders? Right now, it seems I can only see the tagged images within the selected folder. I tired selecting multiple folders, but that doesn't work. Also, the "All Images" album doesn't show all of the images in the session. I also tried creating a new smart album based on colour tag, but again it only worked for the selected folder. Thanks for any help 😄

  Add the folders you wish to be included in the smart album search to a "favourite" (right click/ctrl+click > add to favourites)
  
  Smart album will then search across all marked folders.
