So this feature is not available for use with the Canon 35mm DSLR files?

It is available for all cameras and lenses!
Sole thing only available for lenses used on cameras with Phase DBs ist lens cast calibration.
But there are no presets e.g. for Canon Lenses. C1 analyzes chromatic aberrations and you can store that as presets.
    Available for all cameras/lenses is:
    chromatic aberration
    purple fringing
    lens distortion
    vignetting

How does it know how to correct barrel/pincushion distortion? Do you mark the waviness of a curved wall with the cursor or something like that?

distortion correction is very basic. just for less complex distortions.
you use a slider to set the ammount of correction. that's it.

That's what I really wanted to know. So it's merely a generic slider like in Photoshop. No way to correct complex wave-form mustache distortion (also known as gull-wing distortion). It figures. I have been asking for PhaseOne to implement the PanoTools method for years. Guess they don't really listen to actual users. Bibble uses the PanoTools method and allows use of such data so any types of complex distortion can be corrected.
