Tether problems between 7.1.1 and 1Ds Mk3

Hi there,

I am facing some problems shooting tether using C1 Pro 7.1.1 and 1Ds Mk3. Below is my setup.

Software : C1 Pro 7.1.1
Camera : Canon 1Ds Mk3
OS : Mac OS 10.7.5
System : iMac Intel Core i5 2.7Ghz

Connection to C1 is good. Turn on the camera and it connects. Only problem lies in shooting. The image never gets downloaded to C1. The "pending" info bar lights up when a shot is taken. You can see that the image is trying to load up in C1. Just 10% into its download and the software crashes. Is this a problem inherent in the software version itself?

  Is there a firmware update for your camera, a friend had the same exact issue with a different camera, 5D3,where the pending bar hangs up. Updating the camera firmware helped in his case. You might try 7.1.3 too. It took us a while to work it all out. Also assuming you have tried another cable. Such a pain when tethering is unreliable.
