Colour Chnages Between C1 LE & PS
I have had a problem for some time now where when I process my images in C1 and then open them in Photoshops CS the colours are slightly different, there is a lack of contrast and saturation when comparing the image from photoshop to the image in Capture One LE.
Can anyone help?
My camera is a Canon 30D
I set Adobe RGB (1998) on my camera
In capture one I have the following settings.
Camera product = 30D
Camera Profile = 30D generic
Output Destination (Working Space) = Adobe RGB 1998
Web Destination SRGB
Monitor profile = ColorPlus
Under the Process tab I have Embed Camera Profile selected.
The Colour Management Icon is on.
In Photoshop CS under View > Proof Setup > Custom I have Adobe RGB 1998 selcted.
Under Colour settings in PS I have the following
Settings = Custom
Working Spaces
RGB: = Adobe RGB (1998)
CMYK = Euroscale Coated V2
Gray= Dot Gain 15%
Spot = Dot Gain 15%
Colour Management Policies
RGB: = Preserve Embeded Profiles
CMYK = Off
Gray = Off
Profile Mismatches = Ask when Opening
Conversion Options
Engine = Adobe (Ace)
Intent = Perceptual
and use Black point compensation and use Dither are both ticked
Hopefully someone can help me as this has been a problem for a while, I am getting a fair bit of difference in Contrast when I view the image in PS, its more washed out, also the colours are a little washed out and images are not as saturated.
Thanks

Chris,
An in-camera setting of Adobe RGB only pertains to In-camera processed files, JPEG captures. From RAW, the color space is set at processing.
all looks good except...Under the Process tab I have Embed Camera Profile selected.
Set the Process tab > Color Management workflow: to Convert to Destination
Now you will be comparing Apples to Apples 😄
