Pick white balance tool
I really like the fact that WB is now available with local adjustment layers however a feature I miss from Nikon's Capture NX2 is being able to sample a larger area, like this:

Photoshop allows you to set the sample size to 3x3 and 5x5 average.

The advantage is sensor noise is less likely to influence the white balance sample unlike an eyedropper that samples a single pixel.
Not a deal breaker by any means but something that I'd like to see in C1 one day perhaps as an option in Preferences so it doesn't add any clutter to the interface.

Notwithstanding that it is a nice feature you describe, I believe that CO8 WB picker is reading a number of pixels, not a single pixels. Just for information. 0 -

so was Adobe, but they saw the light and finally offered an ability to select WB using user-defined rectangular area... speaking about UI, it is also worth to finally give regular color pickers an ability to be averaged by user-defined rectangular area with readouts (by choice) in HSV/HSB/HSL and Lab, not only "RGB"... but alas - may be several versions later.0
