Auto select with hot folder
Hi,
I am having problems getting the auto select function to work properly with the hot folder function active in capture one pro 6.0.1. I am shooting tethered with a canon 5Dmk2 through EOS capture software.
Like other users I have also had similar problems shooting directly tethered CO6 with the auto select feature not working but this seems to be corrected by selecting the capture folder at the top of the folders panel.
The problem I am having using a hot folder is rather different, however. Every time a new image is shot the selection goes back to the first image in the navigator, regardless of the auto-select settings. This is really annoying as it is not possible to review the images or make any changes while the photographer is shooting. This was not an issue in capture one 5 as the new image would be selected every time.
A work around is to sort the images by date in reverse order, so the new image appears at the beginning of the navigator list, but this isn't practical at all for quick reviewing.
I have deleted the PLIST, even made a fresh install of capture one from a formatted hard disk, but I still get the same problem. Is this a bug related to v6 or is there a setting to correct this ?

I think I am having the same or a very similar issue. I am shooting using hot folder. I am shooting and have someone on the computer doing edits as I shoot. If I coninue to shoot, she is constantly being reset to the newest capture. It makes it impossible for her to actually work on images if I am shooting. I want the images captured to the folder, but I want her to be able to work on then without it auto updating and changing the active image.
Does this sound similar to your issue? Did you find a resolution?0
