trouble importing RAW with adjustments
I am moving my fotos collection from Cap1 ver 9 on Windows 10 to Cap1 ver 9 on an iMac El Capitan.
During export I clicked the include adjustments box. And during import the "include adjustments" box was checked. Yet none of the adjustments ended up when I view the photos in Cap1 browser.
Am I missing a step somewhere?

Do you need to go through the export and then import process at all?
I assume this is a catalogue move not a Session thing?

Have you tried opening the catalog straight on your mac and just re-assigning the top folder?0 -
I found that when exporting from the Recent Imports folder (or rather, any sub-folders existing there) or from the sub-folders listed under the Hard drive folder, and then trying to import on the Mac, the adustments and the entire RAW file imported fine (I was able to import those files and see both the RAW file in its entirety and well as the thumbnail reflecting the adjustments).
Trying to import files from the User Collections, what I could import was RAW files, but somehow already incorporating the adjustments in the RAW file with no way to undo those and get back to the original RAW file. Strange.
In the end, I did a brute force, and exported all files from the hard drive and Recent Imports. What I lost was my categorizations, but that's life.
And interesting suggestion to try to change the location at the top folder; I think I tried that before w/o luck. Some weeks ago.
At any rate, one way or the other, I accomplished the transfer. Too bad I could not find any over directions in the FAQ to accomplish this. Also, I had posted the question on how to transfer awhile back, but got no response, so conclude it was up to me to sort this out on my own.
Thanks for your help.0
