Do you create a masterfile and put the file in the DAM
Hello,
using C1 as catalog you can develop the picture and generate a output file in each case you need one.
Normale you can do see same with MP as a DAM and using C1 in Session-Mode. In some situations MP is not able to read the modifications (e.g. after a major update of C1). Also if you develop with an other RAW-Converting-Tool.
Do you create a masterfile as tiff or jpg an import this file for later use?
Thanks

If I understand your question correctly you're asking: - If you should catalog your master file in Media Pro and...
- How to make it show any changes you may make to it later
1. Yes you should catalog your master files. They are the most valuable because they are the ones you did the most work with.
2. If you change an item outside of Media Pro you can rebuild the thumbnail by going Action > Rebuild Item (Cmd+B on Mac or Ctrl+B on Windows).

With Masterfile, I mean importing and cataloging a developed image from Capture One as TIFF or PSD.
My RAW-Files I catalog in MediaPro. Normally MediaPro recognizes the edits in Capture One. There is not necessarily the need to catalog a edited image as a TIFF. If necessary, you can always produce an image in the required output format in C1.
Just now the edits of C1 Version 10 are not recognizes in MediaPro.0 -
The easiest way to catalog derivate files and to drag and drop them. An automated solution could be Media Pro's 'Auto-Update' folder feature. 0
