delete permanently greyed out
Surely someone else has asked this, but I cannot find that thread.
I am using 10.x on a Mac, and using the C1 catalogs linking to referenced files on the HD.
When I import, after reviewing the new images, I would like to use the C1 delete functionality to remove the unwanted images from both the catalog and the HD. However, from the menu File only the "remove from catalog" menu item is activated, "delete permanently" is always greyed out. My memory tells me that I used to access "delete permanently" in earlier versions of C1. What am I doing wrong?

Hmmm, tinkering with this a little further I noticed that 1) when I "remove from catalog" the images go to Catalog Trash (as expected), 2) emptying Trash then also deletes the files from HD. The particular import sub-folder (generated by date) remains, but that's ok, that allows me to confirm that the files are gone.
Pretty good!, best of all worlds!
