What are trial limits?
Finally I have time to key word my catalogues on vacation, but the lap top version wont function:
License issue. Now what? Does this 1.3 software work on OSX 10.3.9? If I use the trial version, what are the limitations? Is there a size limit on catalogue? Will the entire catalogue open? Can we save trial version changes for use with the licensed version? Will all the key wording stick when I OPEN THE CATALOGUE WITH THE LICENSED VERSION? ETC> ETC> ( accidental caps key lock) Thanks BTW, is there an ideal size for catalogues?

Answer from whom? This is a user to user forum. I for one don't know this.
Contact Phase One via the regular channels and they'll be able to help you (call them or log a ticket).0 -

Please create a support case and we will get back to you within 24 hours... but in all likelihood it will be within an hour.

At my knowledge the only limit for limit for triel is the 30 days of use. When you buy the program you can use the catalogs you made earlier in the trielperiod.
There is no official data on the functional limits of MP but i think the 128.000 file limit is still there.
Also there is a database limit of 4 Gb (before ,in Expression Media period, it was 1.8 Gb). You could find some information about the limits in this forum and on the DAM book forum ()

The database limit of 4 was removed in V 1.3 which I am now running. My db is now 5.3GB which runs with (generally) no problems.0 -
However, PhaseOne does not mention these kind of important things in their releasenotes.
So, everyone has to find out for themselves...

hmm, lucky me; been running a data base of 6.5 GB lately until
i can get around to a division.0
