Can't get my head around this. I've watched the tutorials and I must be missing something. I understand the changes - smoothness hue, sat, etc but the selector wheel and segments has thrown me.
Lets say it shooting a black subject that has a red label. I want the red to be more vibrant. Do I use the colour drooper with diamond icon and click on the red part of the image to get that colour showing in the red segment of the colour wheel? I know I can move the segment spectrum by dragging the white dots but what is the clear dot in the colour segment wheel?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you choose the colour you want to work on with the picker. The clear dot marks exactly that colour you've chosen with the picker. Every colour inside the boundarys of the white dots is affected by your changes, so you can change the segment to include only your wanted colour. 0
