A few general question regarding C1Pro 9 workflow
Hi!
I recently switched to C1pro and I'm eager to get it optimised for my workflow. I love sessions and the tethering support with capture pilot! The procession function is head and shoulders over LR!
1. Is there any benefit of using Photo Mechanic 5 together with C1pro 9, or does c1pro do everything PM5 does and render it obsolete ?
2.Roundtrip to Photoshop, could anyone share a link to article/video how to do this as effective as possible ?
Thanx!

Cant answer the 1st question, don't use photomechanic.
As to the 2nd question, its really simple one you see how.

In Capture One 8 Pro, I used both Photomechanic 5 and Capture One 8 together and it works like a charm woth XMP integration (requires full XMP sync). My main reason for using Photomechanic was the lack of good keyword handling in Capture One 8 and better support for file renaming in Photomachanic.
In Capture One 9 we got the Keyword Library, which is a very good solution, so my need for Photomechanic is now obsolete (and since the full XMP sync is broken in the current version of Capture One 9). But I would still love Capture One to support all EXIF/IPTC fields in the file renaming tool. I'm missing the Frame4 field, which hold the original last 4 digits of the camera filename.
Speed wise, Capture One is just as fast as Photomechanic in the culling process.
Just my 5¢
