What you have done is almost criminal

What Microsoft and now, PhaseOne,have done with IView is almost criminal.

How can two such companies take a perfectly capable piece of software and then proceed to systematically destroy it? How is it possible that what we have today in MP 1.2 is a worse product than IView 3 from seven or so years ago?

I stupidly thought that having the software under Microsoft's control was as low as it could get but after this recent release, I now realise just how wrong I was. Fact is that I am still using EM instead of MP.

EM has manufacturer rendering, it can render NEFs created from jpegs and Tiffs using Capture NX and when I click on an image to view full size, I don't get a jagged pixelated image while it crunches away trying to "render" using an engine I don't want in the first place.

I have asked this question and will ask it once again. Is there any other piece of software in the world apart from IView 3 where each new iteration after it was released has been made progressively worse than it was with time?

All Phase bloody One had to do was to reset back to IView 3 and start up from there but no, they have to go mess the whole thing up.

I never activated my MP 1.1 installation after the trial as I soon gave up on it as the fruits of an incompetent bunch and an to activate it to install this new version. I had to chuckle when I saw the message asking if I wanted to upgrade my EM to MP to proceed since the trial had expired.

Upgrade? Someone at PhaseOne has a real sense of humour. Sorry guys ... MP is not an Upgrade on EM but a veritable downgrade. With hindsight, I regret Microsoft selling this to PhaseOne as while they neglected the software for a couple of years, Microsoft did not damage it in the same way as you guys are doing.

So yes, in case you didn't notice, I am not too impressed with your efforts and if this were an exam, you'll be getting a big fat "F" from me.
