Colour: Styles vs. advanced colour editor > Can U share ?
Dear All
I am editing a fairly large set of pictures trying to give them an original (or at least a less "dull" look).
I have been exploring the presets/styles which are for sale but, judging from the free samples, there is really nothing that seems particularly convincing.
I have tried the nice article Colorist meets Color Editor
But touching the wheels means that the effect is applied to all the shadows/highlights etc.
I have therefore established a little rule/strategy in the advanced colour editor which consists in the following:
All the colours are selected with the 'pipette'
Do you have styles to share ?
Do you have colour strategies to share ?
THANKS in ADVANCE

I have therefore established a little rule/strategy in the advanced colour editor which consists in the following:
- de-saturating the dominant color in the picture (up to -45%)
saturating (between +25% to +35%) the details
saturating (between +25% to +35%) those elements in the picture that attract the attention first (the notion of "punctum" if you are familiar with Barthes' book 'Camera Lucida')
All the colours are selected with the 'pipette'
