Activation issues
We have a number of cases on first activation of Capture One 8
The activation server seems to have had a bad day and has been restarted in the last few hours due to some heavy load.
Keep trying to activate, it should work after a few tries.

Any update on this? I purchased the update from v7 earlier, and I've tried to activate about 50 times through out the day, but consistently get "Could not activate because of an unknown server error." 0 -
Hi jlarocco - If you did the paid upgrade from V7 to V8 did you receive a new license/activation number for V8 (a different number from your V7)? I have a number of computers I am juggling here right now (some with OS versions older than 10.9) and need to sort it all out before doing the leap to V8 - If the paid upgrade does get a new serial/activation number that would make the transition MUCH easier, not so many worries about burning up activations while transitioning.
