Why is filmstrip option greyed out?

I'm new to Capture One. Loving it so far. I'm looking at a grid of images in the browser, and I want to make my selects with a filmstrip at the bottom. The film strip button is greyed out, next to the list and grid buttons. Why is that?

  In browser mode, the only two views that make sense are Grid (all the images in rows and columns) and List (a list with small thumbnails and columns of various details). You aren't showing the viewer to look at a particular image, so there is nothing that the filmstrip could run along the bottom of, and that option is greyed out.
  
  What you are envisaging, I think, is showing the viewer (View | Show Viewer, or Alt-V on a Mac - not sure what the Windows key shortcut is). Then you get to see the selected image and can choose Grid, List or Filmstrip for the browser. That way you can see the strip of thumbnails below the image (or at the right if you prefer, and I do).

  If I understand what you're describing correctly, this is already possible.
  
  When the Viewer is visible as a column on the right side of the window, press CMD+SHIFT+B to move the Viewer to the bottom of the screen (ala Filmstrip view). CMD+SHIFT+B again to move it back to the column on the right side of the screen.
  
  And then if you'd like to see a large grid, just drag the viewer to take up more space on the screen, and zoom the thumbnails to the desired size.
  
  From there you can save Workspaces in each variation, and name the workspaces "Grid" or "Filmstrip" or whatever makes sense to you.
