Can't get the Preview Switch Tools & no Custom Tools

I have downloaded the free trial of C1 Pro. Reading through the manual, I find that I can customize the toolbars and add some that are not visible after the install by holding Ctrl+ click with the mouse in the menu area. I have tried all menu/toolbar areas and right/left click, No luck.
Also, the preview swith tool should be available through View>Preview Menu.
This also happens to be a line that does not exist under the View drop down.
I have also installed & reinstalled. Again, no luck.
I have nothing as far as menus and toolbars other than what is installed as the default (I am assuming).

I am using P4 with 2 gig Ram, 3.2Ghz and win XP with all the latest updates.

Any help or insight will be greatly appreciated.

Surely some of the Phase One moderators should be able to help and shed some light on this problem I have. It seems that quite a few of the functions and menu items are missing, and for a trial version that states no limited version, I can't go to town with what I have.

Hello

The Manual is mixed Mac and Windows.
The feature you refer to is a Mac feature.

Most features that has been Mac only you should see in version 4.x of Windows.

Thanks for the reply. However,this is a rather lengthy list of important features that the win users are having to do without and the manual does not state anywhere that it is a Mac feature only, so the only to find out is to follow the manual to the letter and make a note of all the features that are not available to us win users.
I think I will be wating for v.4
