v11.1 "Skin Tone" tab gone from White Balance control?
I've just upgraded to v11.1 and I notice the "Skin Tone" tab is no longer present on the "White Balance" control.
Is that intentional? Or is it a bug? Has it been dropped? Or has it's functionality been moved somewhere else?
There's no mention of this in the release notes.
I used to use this a great deal - especially for stage photography where getting the correct skin tone is much more important than the exact, correct tint of light.

This is now the new Normalize feature. If you select the White Balance check box but don't select the Exposure checkbox, it does the same as the Skin Tone section of the WB tool did before. If you select the Exposure check box as well, it matches the exposure as well as the colour. You may need to add the Normalize tool to the Colour tool tab, or select the default workspace.

Aha - OK, I get it.
Thanks for the video link too - great video.
The new Normalize tool actually looks like a fantastic replacement for "Skin Tone" - I can see the potential.
Thanks everyone 😊0 -
Does anyone have the RGB values for the old skin tone presets? 0 -

Not really... But you can keep an old installation of Capture One if you select a different install folder.
