I am not familiar with Nik software, but if it supports command-line opening, like Photoshop, you can select the program in the process recipe, Open With field.

To get it back in Capture One, you have to open the folder (session) or import it (catalog).

Thank you very much Paul. Process Recipe did the trick. I did the same for PS. I have an import question..I created a folder in "Store Files" in the Output Location. I bring this folder up in Import under Location and I can successfully import the images back from PS. Understandably it imports the total contents of the folder. I can select the images I need but is there a way where I dont have to bring in all these redundant images - just the ones I'm working on?

When I export an image to PS with the Process Recipe it opens it in ACR. Is there a way that I can get the image directly into PS? Thanks, jp

No, I am afraid not. I suggest to enhance your workflow that images are grouped by date or move the images that have been imported (which creates a new problem if you import them as referenced images in the catalog). A workaround might be that you use sort by data in the import dialog.

This should only be the case if your process/export to DNG format, not when you select TIFF or JPEG.
