WHY SO SLOW???
I am using Mac OS 10.5.6, 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB SDRAM MacBookPro using C1 4.6Pro.
The software runs VERY SLOW. Moving from one image to the next is slow, batch applying adjustments is slow, etc etc etc. For exapmle, it took three minutes to batch rename 630 images(from a Canon 5D). It took BridgeCS4 ten seconds on same machine. This is newly reformatted MacBookPro with all newly installed softwares. What the deal?

Image ingestion is not CO1's strong suit. I use PhotoMachanic to ingest, name, and add ITPC data, as others do. Very fast.0
