Camera could not be attached
Hi all,
After forcefully (read: not choosing "none" from the dropdown menu) disconnecting the camera and reconnecting it, CO will not reattach the camera until a quit and reopen. I've had this occur recently in two different scenarios:
MBP 15" i7 8gb
CaptureOne 7.0.2
Canon 5d mk III
and the other, a set I'm currently working on:
MacPro 6core 3.33 ghz 24GB
CaptureOne 6.4.2
Canon 1Ds mk III
Besides doing things the right way (disconnecting the camera via the Camera pane dropdown), how can I remedy this? I recall having it reconnect quickly on past jobs running similar software.

If the Canon turns off or goes to sleep while connected to Capture One the software must be restarted. It is a flaw in the SDK from Canon and not a Capture One issue and something of an annoyance for a lot of people unfortunately. I have heard talk of someone making a script that will allow you to reconnect it without having to restart Capture One so stay on the look out if you see it. 0 -
