Screen preview with Canon DSLR
Hi ,
I use Capture One V7 with a Canon D5 Mark II + Canon EOS 650D. On both devices, in my setup, the camera is far way from the computer running CaptureOne(eg. another room) with a long USB cable.
I operate the PC but the photographer absolutely needs to have the picture preview on the device screen (Canon).
At this moment, the picture is directly sent to Capture One and is not visible on the camera, even it is not copied on the SD card neither.
Is there a possibility to have a preview of the pictures on the camera screen when shooting ?
Thank you very much,

Nop, this how the Canon SDK works. We use the SDK to greatly increase transfer speed, stability, live-view and giving the user the ability to change camera parameters. 0 -
You could always just set up a mirrored monitor next to the photographer so he can have an image preview. Takes up a little more room, but you are able to to preview the images. 0 -

Or use Capture Pilot on an iPad.0 -

Or use Capture Pilot Web: that is any device (PC, tablet) with a browser can look over the network what is happening and do some tagging/rating at the same time.0 -
