Questions on thumbnail selection
First I would like to say I am very happy the forum is back up.
I have two questions on the thumbnail selection that I have not been able to figure out.
1. When I use ctrl click or shift click to select a number of thumbnails, I then want to go back and only select the original one, how do I reselect the one , and unselecting all the others at the same time?
2. Somehow I get a thumbnail selected and it has a orange border around it, I do not know how I got it or what it means, or how to remove the orange border.
Any insight into this would be appreciated.....
Sorry if this is so simple I'm just missing it...
Thanks in advance.
Bill

Hi Bill,
Welcome to the forum. Good questions. Answers:
1. You can either deselect the same way you select images with Shift- or Ctrl-click. Or you deselect ALL images first (Ctrl+Shft+A) and select one image.
2. The orange border is the Compare Variant. It can accidently been set through the Enter key, which is the keyboard shortcut. Alternatives are right-click/Set As Compare Variant or through the Edit menu. To clear the Compare Variant, use the same menus or Shft+Enter.0 -
Hi Paul,
Thanks for the reply, that helps alot.
There are things that I like about v4 but the interface is harder to understand than v3.7 (mayby because I am a PC user?)
But I will make the effort to get it, as the quality and speed are great.
Looking forward to the Pro version.
Regards,
