Create a support case with Phase One and request support for this camera.

They should be working on this without us asking,
I tried working on the x100s files last night (with version 7.1.1) and C1 did not recognize them.
Perhaps the problem is on my end?

    Who's to say we aren't?
The purpose of feedback through support cases is to primarily establish demand. We do not have an unlimited amount of time and resources and must build support for those customers that are effected most. If we only have 5 individuals that request support for the Fuji X100s, but find 200 are asking for Pentax K30, then we need to give priority to the demand of our customers (which has unfortunately not been the case for the K30).
We have no doubt that the X100s is a great camera and will have a high demand for support. However, quantitative evidence of such demand will certainly ensure it gets the attention it deserves in a timely manner as appose to just waiting and then being met with disappointment when it doesn't make the cut for our next release.

So... create a support case, let us know you want it and we'll add your name to the growing list. It's that simple.

Just asking if you are working on it. If you are then I will save myself a bit of time, not create a support case and go back to the business of making a living as a photographer and leave the marketing end of creating workflow software up to you guys...

Fair enough... but just like voting, if you don't take the time you'll never know if you could have made a difference. 😉

    No doubt.
This camera is looking to be a major hit. My preliminary tests show that is creates files on a par with the 5D III. Would love to run the RAW files thru C1. Are they giving you any info regarding support for this camera??

Nothing that can be discussed. 😉

If you find the time to request support through the support channel we would be happy to have it.

Drew (and others in the phase one team),

I've posted this to a couple of Fuji X forums, so I do hope you'll have enough support requests soon to give this one some priority. Many X-Pro1/X-E1 owners who bought C1 for RAW processing also own or are about to buy the X100S and I know many would appreciate some alternatives to ACR/LR (particularly given the excellent results that can be achieved with C1 on X-Pro1/X-E1 RAW files).

    Best regards,

    Simon

I entered a support case, and if my English is any good, then this answer means that a version that supports the X100s is coming soon: "This is in the pipeline and we will release a update soon which includes this camera."

Thanks for that Drew, now at least I know now that since I purchased CO7 when it came out and have been waiting the same amount of time for my K-30 to be supported I now know for sure that is not likely to happen.

I had to see it in another thread and not the one I started to get a straight answer, but at least I know now for sure I wasted my money and my time. 🤓

X100S support shouldnt be rocket science as CP7.1 has X-Trans sensor support for XPro1 and XE1. The X100S is teh same sensor with some new photosite processing for the camera to allow better focussing. This wont effect the RAW processing (AFAIK).
