Nikon NEF file created with D200 an NonAF-Lens freezes C1
a friend of mine used my d200 with his 1.4/85 and told me that c1 crashes (color wheel) if he clicks on a thumbnail of one of this images shot with this lens. the thumbnail itself is shown normal.
today i checked this issue with my 1.8/50 mm and it's the same.
if you look at the exif data the focal length is shown as 0 (zero)
does this couse the problems?
anyone with similar problems? let me know. thank you in advance for any help.

There have been reports regarding Capture One 3.x crashing with compressed NEFs from D3 and D300. Do you perhaps use compressed NEFs? If so, can you try uncompressed? 0 -
This has happened to me as well with a D3 and D300 while shooting with a lens baby type lens or if you shoot with a pin hole lens cap. Seems the software freaks out whit out the lens data. They will process up fine in 4.0 version kinda of a pain to switch back and forth. 0 -
me too, i had the freezing up problem on my macbook pro using a d300, couldnt work it out.
I upgraded to a mac pro and got the same results, i nearly always shoot with zeiss manual lenses, did a shoot the other day with an AF lens and CO3 works without problem.
will do a test this weekend but i do believe that it is manual lenses that cause the problem!!!!

This has happened to me today after using D2X and a Micro Nikkor 105mm 2.8 Manual Lens.
I am using a quad g5 8.5gb os x 10.5.2 And 3.7.8 Nefs are not compressed.
I uninstalled C1 Pro and reinstalled no joy.
Not happy about this but glad I have found out why the software is playing up. If anyone knows a work round I would be very happy.
