# of images shows in Catalog but no images

In "All Images" the total number of images is listed and the images show in the box along with the thumbnails.

I have set up 2 catalogs :
The one catalog "Town" shows the correct amount of images (11) and they are in the Thumbnail section
The other catalog (Family) shows the number of images (34) not there are no thumbnails, instead it says
"No variants match this Search" in the Thumbnail Section and in the preview box is says;
No Image Selected.

The images are listed in my Pictures section under sessions as the Family and all the images are there.

Anyone know the reason or solution?

    Maybe there is a Search active. Make sure you have disabled any search from the Filters tool. It has a Search bar at the top. If the three dots at the right are colored and have an X sign next to it, click on the X sign to remove the search.

    Sorry for the long wait, but Phase one notices still do not work for me for some reason.

    I did click on a filter for keywords that had the 34 # and the 34 images now appear while that is good it does nor seem right that I would have to do that.
    I went back and shut it down and remove the orange dot from on (I guess) to off and they stayed in the thumbnail box.

    I guess it unlocked something, anyway, lesson learned, good to learn something everyday.

    Any thoughts on why I cannot get notices still, I have the latest version of MAC.
