Import session to Catalog issue

OK, so I have a session on a laptop with about 400 images. When I import into my existing master Catalog on another machine, the ratings are missing.

Workflow looks like this
1) downloaded images to hard drive on Macbook Pro
2) tagged and rated images in Photomechanic.
3) Create a Session in CO and imported the images into it.
4) performed some edits on images in the Session

At this point, all images and ratings look fine in the session

5) next I copied the whole session folder to my mac Mini desktop
6) imported Session into my main Catalog
7) no ratings appear at all

I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. Seems like if the session has the ratings into it, those ratings should pass to the catalog upon import, no?

  OK, I solved it sort of.
  
  I noticed that the ratings ARE in the catalog but just aren't appearing in the browse view. If I click on an image that has three stars and go to the Metadata Tab, the detailed metadata shows the rating, but the Browser view does not show any rating at all.
  
  However, I fixed it by completely exiting Capture One and restarting. When I return to the images, this time the ratings are in there in the browse view.
  
  Anyway, I worked around it but don't think I should have to exist C1 to get it to show the ratings in the browser.

  Maybe wrong but if you highlight the images and select load metadata do they not show?

  Same for me !
  I put keywords with Photomechanic, I import somme pictures in C1, keywords are fine on metadata, but if I filter with a keyword they are not in result. I have to exit from C1 and restart.
  My english is too bad, I can't ask PhaseOne.
