    Hi,
some further testing showed me that the problem, is only visible in the higher saturated yellowgreen colorarea for example: lemons or yellowgreen leaves in sunlight.
Am I the only one, or is here anyone who can reproduce this?

    Regards
    Wolfgang

Yes... I can confirm this issue... here's a couple of screen caps that document it.

In my case, I did a round-trip to NIK where I amped up the saturation on the leaves in this tree.

In the first two images below, the tree on the left is what it looked like in NIK. The tree on the right is what it looked like after I was done and back in Capture One Pro. The first screen grab is showing the RGB value of the leaf as seen working on the TIFF (16-bit sRGB) in NIK, the second screen grab is showing the RGB value of the leaf as seen in the preview back in C1, the third screen grab compares the output JPEG (100% sRGB) on the left with the C1 preview (right). Note that that NIK TIFF version is noticeably more saturated green and has no Blue component.

You'll also note how the blue sign in the C1 viewer is not very sharp... there's another issue with preview quality at work for you!

    Not good!

FYI... Reply from support is that they are aware of this and working on a fix in an upcoming release.

    Thanks for your answer,
so I 'm not alone and they're working on it, whats new for me, thank's!
In hope to mostly disclaim Photoshop with CO1 in future, here is my Waterloo...

please try to import it to CO1 and see the difference...

I wanted to point out that this problem remains unresolved with the 8.2 update. It's odd since they apparently knew about this issue. I exported the RAW to NIK using the Edit with... (16-Bit TIFF sRGB)... the top image is the green in NIK, the bottom image is the same point sampled after the TIFF is saved in Capture One Pro... Note that the color is less vibrant green and more muted in Capture One... The RGB values of the two would suggest the color is shifting.

Same observations here, particularly obvious with greens and yellows. It seems the black and white points of reimported TIFFs are shifted too, resulting in less contrast

I also have this issue. Particularly with very highly saturated colours. Happened on some red shirts today. Also seems to reduce contrast slightly. Has anyone had a response from P1 regarding a fix?

This is a really bad issue for colour software!

    Thanks

Still not fixed in 8.3 for me? Can anyone confirm if it is fixed for them?

    Thanks

Wolfgang try converting your image to A98 from your special srgb black scale profile before reimporting it to C1. Im afraid C1 is not honoring the profile. I have the same problem with BW srgb images with a printer profile attached instead of Adobe98. Aperture had an issue with out of gamut Greens and it drove me nuts that color management was not honored. They did fix it eventually and I trust C1 will too. If I was to guess Id say they are trying to honor the profile BUT Assigning a profile instead of converting the profile. Or visa versa

    Cheers
    David
