What's the best way to delete a folder from catalog?
I usually delete RAW files of shoots I only do for money and I have no interest to put into my portfolio.
Creates space.
I selected the folder and chose "delete" from the context menu of the cursor.
The catalog gave me an eternal beachball then which never went away - corrupted. I had to delete it and import everything again.
How can I delete a folder with images from the catalog?
Thanks!

You didn't do anything wrong. I have had similar experiences with deleting folders from the catalog. Its just a bit flakey at present. try again and see if it ok now. 0 -
That's a little worrying. Selecting all of the images in a folder, then deleting them appears to also delete the folder (without crashing). 0 -
Thanks NN - I'll delete all images and see if the folder goes away, too.
By the way: the backup seems to be an awfully small file.
How do your restore a catalog from the backup? The previews do not seem to be there (which is why the backup is so small)>0 -

I haven't got that far yet! BTW, do you know how to change your forum name to something more personal? 😄0 -
