I have notified Phase One of the issue after I heard about it from one participant in a training I gave this week.

Does it occur always or intermittently? Do you use session or catalog?

I use sessions and shoot tethered. Rarely will I get the white gear, perhaps 5% of the time.Thanks.

I am also experiencing the same issue and have yet to discern a pattern.

Just happened to be perusing the boards for another reason & thought I'd chime in..

This occurs when a file is renamed prior to processing.

Try importing a file, do not rename it, and just take it straight to the process tool. The white gear icon should behave correctly. It has not yet been corrected (in 7.0.1), but at least you can implement an appropriate work-around.

Any word on when this will be corrected? I just downloaded the update and it is still a problem, along with my later post about "set as capture folder" being greyed out. Thank you.

In looking at posts all over this forum I dont see any response from Phase One. Is this a forum that they dont look at?
Im getting ready to go into a 1200 shot shoot and normally I use C1pro. This version scares me to death. Its like someone
went in and just corrupted the entire program. There are so many issues and problems that a book could be written on what is wrong with it. What the heck have they done? Ive spent way to much time trying to get this piece of junk to work.

This is a user-to-user forum. For a direct response from Phase One you'd better open a support case. Support staff is chiming in frequently to assist.

If you like to discuss issues with your peers, you are free to share more details.

Paul - was still having stability issues and the gear issues, cleaned everything off again and reinstalled. The gears appear to be working and most of the issues seems to better.

Everyone having this problem make sure to follow these instruction when uninstalling and reinstalling
