    It is an opal plate for making an LCC reference file. There are two sizes in the kit. That's all.

    LCC is for lens cast calibration.

    Thanks for that. I was under a misconception of what is was for. I have a Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 for which there is no Nikon calibration. Fortunately it has very low geometric distortion so manual correction is not too much of a problem.
