Does Importing Styles to Capture One 9 crash your C1?

Whenever I import styles, I have the test version, my C1 crashes... Im running latest OSX on a Mac Book Pro Mid 2014

    Don't know if old styles are compatible.

    For the C1 Film styles we got the suggestion to download the latest version first for Capture One 9. But I haven't actually tried them yet as I rolled back to 8 after seeing how buggy 9 is.

    I have the extended styles set from and they are compatible with CO9. I didn't download or re-install them, CO9 picked them up when it was installed.
    CO9 is currently working for me with no apparent problems.

    OSX 10.10.5
    MacBook Pro 15"
