Transfering Raw files from Laptop to desktop problem

I have brought over a few folders of raw images from my laptop to my desktop and, although they worked fine on the laptop with v 3.6, whenever I select the folder using Capture One v3.6 on the desktop, I get an error that says \"Unable to generate preview from file C:\\\\ . . . . The capture file may have errors\" Then I have to click OK for each of the files in the folder.

I want to be able to use my Sony Artisan calibrated monitor to process these file instead of the laptop.

Can anyone help resolve this problem, please?

    Try going in to File -> Preferences and make sure you check both boxes in \"File recognition\"
