RE: White Balance information from camera not read
Nikon has made their encrypted files available now, but when this can be implemented into the next release of Capture One is not known at this time. See the statements from our Product Manager from the User Forum at: http://forum.phaseone.com/viewtopic.php?t=1252

Let me assure you there are many Users shooting with a D2x that are having no problems with their workflow. This situation simply means you cannot use the camera's Custom or Auto White Balance settings because the data is not read by Capture One. It is best to choose one of the other preset WB choices for more constant results. With the ability to capture a Macbeth or true grey card as first image of a shoot or to select a neutral area within an image, and then to apply this setting to all other images capture under the same lighting conditions is just way too easy. And for that matter, as accurate or better than the in-camera WB capabilities.
