    Hi there,

It is really great having the Fuji film simulations available in Capture One (v12.1.3 64bit).

    I recently realized ...
    - applying Fuji film simulations to a Fuji RAF file works fine
    - applying Fuji film simulations to a DNG copy* of the same file doesn´t work at all
    (* created by Idirient X-Transformer)

Fuji film simulations are available and selectable under "Curves" in both cases.
Also for both file types, EXIF data show "FUJIFILM" for manufacturer and "X-H1" as camera model.

I guess because the film curves apply to Fuji X-Trans raw files. Irident X-Transformer produces a demosaiced RGB file i.e. it's not a raw file.

Thanks, Ian. OK, good to know.

Checked that Fuji film simulations also don't work with Fuji camera provided JPGs. Which is in line with your advice.

Why would you want to use Iridient X-Transformer with Capture One ? 🤓

Good question! ... and I am happy to say that I do not want anymore. 😄

I have already experienced how nicely CO is treating RAF files, which makes the X-Transformer step obsolete now. And I wish I would have switched from Lightroom earlier.

But ... I have quite a few "old" files as DNGs, and those are the ones being concerned. But as I have certainty on the Fuji film simulations behaviour in CO now, I will find a smart workflow for those images.
