Move from PC to Imac
Hi
I am in the process of changing my PC for an Imac.
I am seeking clarification regarding the transfer of my Capture One 4 license across to the new computer.
Can anyone confirm the actions that I need to take to achieve this, I assume I deactivate on 1 machine and reactivate on the new. I will not be keeping my old PC, after reformatting the hard drive my Grandson will use it for games (yuk).
Some guidance would be appreciated as moving to Mac after using a PC for many many years is a big deal and I don't want to screw things up.
Thanks people
Peter

You can deactivate from within the application (Help menu I think, don't have a Windows version at hand at the moment) or from Phase One's web site (login). From that site you can see your number of free activations.
Note that some older CO 3.x LE licenses are not cross platform (Win & Mac). Check that with PO first. If you have a Pro license (always cross platform) or a LE license that came with hardware (camera, memory card), it is probably a cross platform license.0 -
Hi Peter-
If you need a cross-grade (platform) upgrade .
You can get it here: http://www.phaseone.com/Content/EshopMenu/C1LE.aspx

Hi Everyone
Further to my planned move to the iMac, well the machine arrived yesterday (Saturday, 1 March), I have managed to move across my images (with an external HDD) + other important stuff, mostly by hand.
There is always a BUT, the but was me, I planned to swop my Capture One 4 today, however I could not remember my password, I obtained the password logged onto my account to find everything BLANK.
So I need a spot of professional assistance, I think that because I disconnected my PC and then tried to log in using the Mac I've been frozen out (sort of), I know my details are in there somewhere but I need someone to put me back on the path to using 4.
Can Phase One rescue me from what is probably my own stupidity, other than this the move to Mac could not have been easier (HONEST).
I await the experts answer?

HI -
Log into Phase One and create a support case.

Give them if possible your product key number. We will need full name and other email profiles you might of used in the past.

Hello JRA
Thank you for the reply.
I have tried to create a support case, however I kept being asked to fill in a box regarding digital backs, a mandatory field, however I use an EOS 5D which does not have said device?
I tried the final send key, received no acknowledgment, so am unsure if I was successful in posting my query.
Any further advice you can give would be appreciated.
Thanks
